Hi guys, my name is Kira Neal DeMerse. I’m excited to share this new beginning with you. My love of dance began before I was even able to take a dance class. At 2 years old I sat in the second row at the Nutcracker and watched in awe as The Sugar Plum Fairy entered the stage and danced right in front of me. I turned to my mom and loudly proclaimed for everyone around us to hear, including The Sugar Plum Fairy, that I could do that! And when my mom tried to shuuush me, I repeated LOUDLY and FIRMLY! Shortly after that I was able to join my first dance class! And have been running the show ever since!
I love dance and performing! And I want to share that with my students! I want each one to develop their own love for dance and get as much joy out of it as I do! My plan to accomplish that is by providing a great foundation and building on that! And by building each dancer up! And letting them know they are capable!
I have danced most of my life and added in pageants, competitive cheer, high school cheer, and college cheer. I have always stayed very busy but I have always continued to DANCE! The highlights of my year are putting together and teaching production number routines for several pageants across the country! Pulling together the talents of all the kids into a wonderful performance that they are so proud of makes my heart smile! I can not wait to have the opportunity to do this with my own studio!
We are starting out small with our inaugural year this year but I have very BIG plans for us!
